The Sport

The sport is Ultimate Frisbee, a game of agility, skill, speed, and luck. It is a sport which combines the best elements of soccer, basketball and American football into one very intense experience. Although it's been around for more than 25 years, there are still many people unfamiliar with Ultimate. If you are one of those people, I strongly encourage you to get involved in the sport. Not only is it incredibly fun, but it's also easy to learn and a good way to burn off unsightly cellulite.

The Team

For two years now, we, the Mothers of Extension, have terrorized the world Ultimate scene with our Hard Core playing style. Living up to our motto, "gonna make ya sweat," has always been one of our top priorities. Officially, we are the Ultimate Frisbee team of MLK High School, but we believe that we would be quite capable of representing the entire United States in any international Ultimate competitions that should arise. We are very comitted to our sport, and we practice every day no matter what the weather or field conditions. Not only are we an invincible Ultimate team, but we're also politically correct, with representation from many strange ethnic and cultural groups within our ranks. We believe that Ultimate is the ultimate sport, and that it will eventually bring together the nations of the world in a spirit of universal peace and sportmanship. Long live Ultimate! Long live the Muthaz!

The Players

Kaldari - I'm the one who made this cool web page. I'm also the one who came up with our team's super-groovy name. I first played Ultimate at the Duke University TIP Program when I was 13, and I've been addicted ever since. Ultimate Frisbee is quite possibly my greatest passion in life, and I would gladly pass up throngs of beautiful women for one good game of Hard Core Ultimate. Perhaps I'm a bit obsessed, but I wouldn't call myself a Mother otherwise.

Vercingetorix - The wind blowing through my hair as I run and feel as though I'm in flight, I realize I am. Suddenly gravity takes it's turn and I come rushing down to the earth with disc in hand. If I don't play, I don't live, and a good point is worth dying for. We started as a small clan of 6 who occasionally played, now a thriving colony of about 18 who eat, drink, and sleep Ultimate.

Obadiah - I am probably the most opinionated and fanatical Mutha ever to have existed. Ultimate is the greatest sport known to any Homo sapiens, and all other sports, save Disc Golf only, are vastly inferior to the illuminating light of glory that is - Ultimate Frisbee. I am also the spiritual arm of the Muthaz of Extension. On occasion, I have been known to call upon The Higher Power to assist me and my teammates in winning a game. Frisbees have changed course mid-direction, and sure catches have failed due to the Divine assistance given to us, ending in only Honor for God, and Honor for the Muthaz. I Love Ultimate!!! The Muthaz are the greatest group of frisbee players in the world!!! All Hail the Muthaz!!!.
A full-length version of Obadiah's dissertation on Motherhood is also available for your reading enjoyment.

The Senator - I, like most of the other Muthaz, enjoy very much to play in harsh conditions, such as rain, snow, sleet, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, droughts, blizzards, meteor showers, alien invasions and volcano eruptions. Mud games are always the best, and it was a mud game that we were playing when we got suspended. It was all worth it though, because we had a great game going when we had to stop. Not even injuries can stop us from playing. Most, if not all of us have played with some sort of injury at one point or another. It is surprising if a game is completed without one of us getting hurt, minorly or otherwise. It doesn't matter to us, we just keep on playing. I am the Senator and I am devoted to playing Ultimate at any cost, under any conditions.

Seth Lepzelter - These few names I will answer to: Seth, Sef, Billy (I am the only one of the muthaz who wears a permanent beard), Lurch on Hexonyx MUD, and most recently, Disco. I don't have a home page at the moment so I can just say that I am a frisbee freak, and to sum up what would take Obadiah four pages, I can say this--The Muthaz of Extension are the best frisbee team in Nashville, wait a minute, I mean The Muthaz of Extension are the best frisbee team in the universe!!!

Other Mothers - Vikas Singh, Carl Brownson, Brian Frierson, Andrew McKelvey, Oran Switzer, Carl Tashian, Brian Johnson, Susie Choate, David Clayborne, Kate Eyler-Walker, and Lenny Charlet.

Retired Mothers - Noel Rose, Scott Grantham, Bryan Keen, and Bryson Evans.
